Psychological well-being

Vuyani Vitalis Nyezi, a counselling psychologist based in Durban Central (KZN), South Africa. He started working as a student psychologist at the Africa Centre stationed in Mtubatuba. He was offering psychological services to the organization workers. He also worked at Rhodes University (RU) in Grahamstown in the Eastern Cape province. At Rhodes, he worked as a student counsellor at the Student Counselling and Career Centre. He went to work as a psychologist at the department of Correctional Services (DSC) in Kokstad (KZN) which is also known as Ebongweni Correctional Centre (Maximum prison), South Africa’s highly secure correctional center. He was offering comprehensive psychological services to all offenders.
He then decided to focus on private practice on full time basis to date. It is very important to emphasize that he has been a psychologist for 12 years now, meaning that he has got a lot of experience in providing comprehensive psychological services to the community at large.

Scholastic Problems

May present through faulty academic behavior like inattention, lack of interest in studies, exam failure, to emotional expression like aggression and belligerence with school peers, physical complaints particularly in the school hours or absolute reluctance and refusal to attend school.

Individual Therapy

Individual therapy helps a single person work through personal issues they have been facing. It is an effective treatment for a variety of emotional difficulties and mental illnesses.

Sexual Issues

Desire disorders: lack of sexual desire or interest in sex. Arousal disorders: inability to become physically aroused or excited during sexual activity. Orgasm disorders: delay or absence of orgasm (climax). Pain disorders: pain during intercourse.

Cognitive/Intellectual

Cognitive development and intellectual development really focuses on the way changes in the brain occur related to how we think and learn as we grow.

Group Therapy

Group therapy is the treatment of multiple patients at once by one or more healthcare providers. It can be used to treat a variety of conditions including but not limited to emotional trauma, anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)

Bereavement

Therapy or counseling is provided to individuals who are experiencing loss following the death of a loved one. The therapy may address issues of separation, grieving, and carrying on with life.
